Creating Tolerance and Respect

 

 

 

How do you create tolerance and respect in the society?

 

To create tolerance, and the other word respect, is closer to oneself. It is the person him or herself, to create their own tolerance and respect and project it to others.

 

Different sections of society have to be responsible for their own creation of tolerance and respect.

 

Many want tolerance and respect, but few understand that in order to get tolerance and respect you have to be responsible in the society and engage in society to have this returned to you.

 

People often cry-out and protest at the way they are treated, and speak-out that the police or government is to blame. But they fail to realise that if people want to commit crimes, be unruly, be lazy, be irresponsible and intolerant themselves, then why should others tolerate and respect them.

 

Many of the Great Prophets of the The Great Religions, which have been fortunate enough to have graced-us with their presence on this planet, have spoken the same message. Many have misunderstood The Great Prophets and have added the ingredient of a secular society; this is why such teachings and followings of tolerance and respect are missing.

 

It is not just the responsibility of government or the police to be tolerant and respectful, but all of us. Until tolerance, respect and responsibility of oneself is applied to others in the society, then we will have certain sections of society wondering why they do not have tolerance or respect in the society.
